Schlaupitz & Associates in 2002 to bring the combined services of local public accounting and higher level business planning and financial advisory services to owners of privately held businesses, boards of non-profit organizations, and individuals who need a higher level of assistance to manage their business and financial interests.

If the science of accounting is found in the technical knowledge necessary to prepare financial reports and provide tax counsel, then the art of accounting can be found in how the accountant engages management to understand all the drivers to financial performance and make better decisions as a result.
